Next Generation United (NGU), an initiative of the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, is a group of millennials who seek to involve younger donors in philanthropy and engage them in improving our community through service, collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Their nonprofit organization supports those factors by dedicating 12 months of professional service and volunteerism to Western New York nonprofits that align with our values. Working together they encourage celebration and support of diversity and inclusion efforts, they help facilitate frank but respectful conversations about divisive and timely topics and collaboratively fight against racism, bias, and discrimination in our neighborhoods and beyond. They are also the organizers of Buffalo Public Art Tours, showing off the beauty of diversity in our city via amazing public art.
